Jay is a Managing Director at Arthur J Gallagher. Jay is responsible for ensuring our restaurant clients have the most comprehensive, cost-effective risk management solutions available in today’s market. Gallagher’s team of restaurant experts understand the challenges of the industry and works with key markets to craft tailored solutions for our clients. His team is focused on doing what is necessary to help reduce total costs of risk backed by a best in class customer service team.
Jay has over 20 years in the risk/insurance industry. He was recognized by Business Insurance Magazine as a 2017 Break-Out Award winner for his work as Director of Risk Management at one of the nation’s largest casual dining restaurant chains. His robust experience includes a decade at one of the nation’s largest TPA’s where he served in a number of leadership roles overseeing several multi-million dollar national accounts.
Recognized as a thought leader in the industry, Jay has been asked to speak at RIMS, NRRDA, CLM and a variety of other insurance industry events. He served as President of the Nebraska Claims Association, is a current member of the External Affairs Committee at RIMS and serves on the Board of Directors of Kids Chance of Nebraska.
He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and was a member of the 1997 National Championship football team. He is currently a D1 college football official and enjoys spending time with his wife Kindra and their two kids.
